Mplicity's Mission is to become the leading fab-less Multi-threaded, Multi- core, solution provider by providing a simple, fully compatible and reliable method for seamlessly transforming existing single processor offerings into a next generation multi-processor solution.

Market Opportunity
The market of next generation embedded devices is eager for high-performance processors that can readily address the demands of both computer intensive applications as well as converging technologies (e.g. PDA's, Cell phones, GPS and Mobile Computing). However, this marketwill not tolerate added costs and increased power dissipation, which is traditionally associated with next generation performance goals.
Device manufactures are looking for avenues that will allow them to seamlessly migrate to the next generation of processors while maintaining full object code cycle-by-cycle compatibility with their existing embedded processors (e.g., RISC, CISC, DSP, Combined RISC - DSP), as well as rigid control over manufacturing costs.

Product Description
Mplicity's patent pending "CoreUpGrade" offering is predicated on its evolutionary Virtual Multiprocessing algorithms and tools. The "CoreUpGrade" seamlessly transforms a given single-processor core into an enriched core with a significantly reduced cost to performance ratio.

Strategic Alliances
Mplicity has formed a strategic alliance with Flextronics Semiconductor Inc., which allows Flextronics to quickly and effectively boost the technical advantages of their existing and next generation product offerings, by simply implementing Mplicity's "CoreUpGrade" architecture.


Management Team
Gil Vinitzky Co-Founder: Gil has over 13 years of experience in a variety of engineering design and management activities. Before founding Mplicity, Gil's last position was the manager of DSP Group's Architecture and Algorithm Department.

Eran Dagan Co-Founder: Eran has over 7 years of experience in CPU architecture with in-depth knowledge of all facets of chip design, from front-end chip design, through verification techniques, to backend process. Before founding Mplicity, Eran's last position was Senior Architect at DSP Group's core technology division.

Larry Leibson Vice President Business Development & Strategic Alliances: Larry has more than 25 years of experience in business development, marketing and sales in the global marketplace. He has served in senior business development and management positions at BrightCom Technologies, RadLan, Nbase Communications, Fibronics International, IBM Israel and IBM USA.

Mplicity Chairman of the Board
Dr. Avi Fried: Prior to his current position as General of Manager of Magama Israel, Dr. Fried acted as the CEO and President of Msafe Inc., General Manager of Avanti Corp Europe, General Manager of Cadence Israel and the Area Director for QuickTurn Israel.

Advisory Board
Shabtai Adlersberg CEO and Chairman of the Board of Audiocodes: Prior to Audiocodes, he co-founded DSP group, which was later spun-off as DSP Communications.

Prof. Yair Beeri Prof. Beeri is the Chairman of the Department of Electrical Engineering at Tel-Aviv University: Prior to that, Prof. Beeri was Vice President of Advanced Technologies at DSP Group.
