Mission
Oversi's mission is to become a leading worldwide provider of Peer-to-Peer (P2P) and HTTP caching and content delivery solutions for Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and Cable Operators.

Market Opportunity

  1. Bandwidth Explosion: The Internet is fast becoming a Videonet, dominated by P2P and HTTP video applications.  Demand for video services overwhelms the network, leading to poor quality of service and dissatisfied customers. And it's just the beginning - Internet TV and video on demand are on the way. Service providers need to find new ways to cope with the increase in Internet traffic without spending huge amounts on upgrading their networks.

  2. New Media Era: How can service providers financially benefit from subscribers' increasing demand for online video? At present, most ISPs and cable operators are mere bandwidth conduits, without seeing any financial gain from the increasing demand for Internet video flowing through their networks. A new type of solution is required to enable service providers to monetize the delivery of premium services.

The Oversi Solution
Oversi's caching and content delivery solutions enable service providers to manage the growth in Internet traffic while improving customers' quality of experience and increasing ARPU (average revenue per user).

By delivering additional bandwidth from the nearest cache and accelerating content delivery, Oversi's platform reduces the load on interconnect lines, backbones and access networks. Service providers can save on international and interconnect bandwidth while deferring expensive infrastructure upgrades.

At the same time, Oversi's solution improves customers' quality of experience by freeing up users' uplinks, increasing customer satisfaction and reducing churn.

By controlling bandwidth supplies, Oversi's solution also enables service providers to offer tiered services or a range of Service Level Agreements at different price levels. Customers can be motivated to purchase and upgrade to a higher broadband package based on an improved quality of experience.

Oversi's solutions open up a range of monetization opportunities for service providers in the delivery of Internet TV and video on demand. Service providers can charge content owners and content delivery networks for better service levels and deliver their own content to users, such as portals with personalized advertising.

Based on distributed grid architecture and smart caching algorithms, Oversi's technology is highly scalable and supports new and changing trends in content delivery.
