Rimonyx's proprietary SMIG (Small Molecule Inhibitors of adhesion to Glycosaminoglycans) platform is based on an original analysis of clinically-proven drugs and combines an algorithm-selected collection of compounds, drug screening and validated drug targets. The SMIG platform cuts R&D time by at least one year and allowed the company to rapidly identify a number of promising compounds which it plans to develop.

Rimonyx's hybrid business strategy involves both developing an in-house pipeline of drug candidates with a focus on inflammatory and autoimmune disorders and actively out-licensing lead compounds to pharma companies. Rimonyx has an experienced and talented management team who enlists the advice of well-known scientists and experienced business advisors.
